How did you get started on Amazon?

I started selling on Amazon in 2015 after learning about the opportunity on a podcast. I started with private label selling, and have always been drawn to it the most. I prefer to be building my own brand, rather than selling someone else’s. I’m obsessed with selling online — mostly physical products on Amazon, but also digital products like online courses and content creation.

What is your favorite tool to use from Jungle Scout?

I love Sales Analytics; it’s what I use the most to keep a pulse check on my business! I also love Review Automation, because I know it’s increasing my review rate without me having to think about it.

What’s the biggest mistake you’ve ever made selling on ecommerce?

My biggest mistake was selling a product with small profit margins and taking too long to cut that product and move onto something more profitable. This held my business back for a long time.

Your advice for new sellers:

Move fast! Amazon, ecommerce, the Internet, and technology are all so fast-paced and opportunities are presenting themselves all the time, but also disappearing all the time. So make the most of the amazing opportunities that are out there right now, because they may not always be!
