AUSTIN, Texas — June 6, 2022 — Today, Jungle Scout, the leading all-in-one platform for ecommerce sellers, announced that applications are now open for the Jungle Scholar Fall 2022 scholarship. Jungle Scholar awards $2,500 to post-secondary students in the U.S. and Canada for innovation in ecommerce through a new product, business idea, technical development, or research they plan to pursue in their studies.
First launched in 2017, Jungle Scholar is part of Jungle Scout’s commitment to supporting future entrepreneurs and business leaders. Since the program’s inception, Jungle Scout has awarded ten scholarships to students studying business, entrepreneurship, computer science, and related fields. Additional philanthropic initiatives supported by Jungle Scout include Pencils of Promise and Doctors Without Borders.

It’s something we live and breathe every day,” says Greg Mercer, Founder and CEO of Jungle Scout. “Our hope is for Jungle Scholar to inspire future generations of entrepreneurs and help alleviate the financial barriers to pursuing higher education.”
The deadline to apply for the fall 2022 scholarship is August 7, 2022. The recipient will be notified by August 31, 2022. The complete list of requirements is below.
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. One recipient will be chosen per semester (Fall and Spring). Applicants must be studying at or preparing to study at an accredited University in the U.S. or Canada, are required to complete a questionnaire and submit a three-minute video explaining a SaaS or eCommerce-related business idea.
