What to Sell on Amazon FBA: The Best 5 Products for June 2024

The hardest part about selling on Amazon is, well, figuring out what to sell on Amazon. You may have what you think is a great idea for a product, but smart sellers rely on data — not always their gut instincts — for which products to invest in.

This is especially true in June when customers shop for Summer items. This time of year is when the warmer weather and seasonal items start to pick up again — which sellers can take advantage of.

How do you pick the best products to sell on Amazon? How do you know what consumers are buying during this time of year? How much inventory should you purchase?

1. Golf accessories

Golf season is in full effect. Golf has become increasingly popular over the past couple of years, and this year is no different. 

Now is a great opportunity to offer golfing products on Amazon. Scroll through the search results on Amazon to get an idea of what you can sell. 

Golf-related keywords are seeing an uptick in 30-day search trends, so now is the time to start stocking up.

There are many great opportunities to launch new private label golf products, but if you want to capitalize sooner rather than later, there are an unlimited number of retail arbitrage and wholesale opportunities. 

For wholesale opportunities, reach out to small-medium-sized golf brands and state how you can help increase their sales if they allow you to sell their products on Amazon.

3. 4th of July

4th of July, or Independence Day, is a US federal holiday commemorating the Declaration of Independence of the United States. Like Memorial Day, citizens will typically have a BBQ or get-together with friends and family. 

This large celebration involves purchasing large quantities of USA-themed party supplies. Start preparing now and figure out what types of products you can offer online and locally on Facebook Marketplace. 

Even though it is early June, consumers are already searching for 4th of July products. Let’s look at the numbers.

The numbers speak for themselves! As you can see, there is a large spike in trending search volume for all keywords related to the 4th of July. Start researching now and get those products on Amazon!

4. Outdoor decor

Outdoor decor can mean lots of different products, such as solar lights, outdoor rugs, patio furniture, garden statues, string lights, tiki torches, and much more. 

This category will work great for all business models on Amazon: arbitrage, wholesale, and private label. Selling outdoor furniture and decor also presents big opportunities for your local market, such as on Facebook Marketplace

Let’s look at the numbers.

Each of these keywords shown in Keyword Scout has a high monthly search volume and trending search volume. Now is the perfect time to start selling these types of products.

While search volume for these types of keywords peaks towards the beginning of the summer, there is still significant search volume in July, August, and September. 

5. Bathing suits

Selling bathing suits for both men and women is still a great way to cash in during this time of the year. Consumers who didn’t purchase new bathing suits before the beginning of the summer may still purchase them now and during the middle of summer.

Let’s look at the numbers. 

Every keyword in each of these lists is trending upwards. This information tells us that now is the time to stock up as the weather continues to warm up and consumers head to the beach or the pool.

If you are approved to sell clothing on Amazon, look at your local stores for discount bathing suits you can resell or reach out to bathing suit brands and start opening some wholesale accounts.

Don’t limit yourself to the list of ideas above, as most products in all product categories will sell in June. Think outside the box, gather your ideas, and make sure you bring them into proper product research before investing in any product to sell on Amazon
